About me
I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults in individual as well as family therapy. I provide telehealth therapy sessions. Ages 9+. I genuinely believe we all have the ability inside of us to heal and will guide you along your journey, which is an honor.
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2004 and has had her Registered Play Therapy - Supervisor (RPT-S) since 2008. I graduated in 2000 from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Social Work with a focus on complex trauma, PTSD, and play therapy. I have experiencing working with a variety of clients in many settings, the home, schools, and outpatient. Currently I only do Telehealth Therapy. I work with clients with many needs such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, family relationship issues, and self-esteem. I also have a strong focus in training on trauma, work with survivors of sexual abuse, and am a also a Certified Trained Adoption Therapist working with all parties impacted by adoption. Additionally, I also have extensive experience in family therapy, working with all ages of clients from 9+ to adults.
My interests outside of providing therapy is working and playing with my dogs training them in various dog sports and volunteering with rescue groups. I also enjoy cooking and spending time with family and friends.
