About me
My core values of honor, courage, and commitment bring my practice to life; just as I protected and served my Marines before, I now protect and serve my clients.
This is my second career; my first was as an active-duty Marine. What drew me here was part of my service. I saw families and servicemembers torn apart by the rigors of service and war. When I could no longer serve my country in uniform, I decided to be of service to those who still serve my country in other ways. I am naturally empathetic with a strong character, and I have a sense of duty, honor, courage, and commitment to my clients. I cut my teeth as a domestic violence counselor, then moved to mobile crisis intervention and a crisis hotline before settling into private practice as a trauma specialist. I have completed specialized training in CPT and ACT, which allows me to treat a range of conditions, including PTSD. The more I work with CPT, the more I am convinced of its efficacy in treating PTSD.
