About me
Born and raised in the vibrant city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, I have always felt a deep connection to the community and a passion for helping others. My journey into the field of social work began with a profound desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults who often face unique challenges and struggles.
Throughout my career, I have experience with a diverse set of therapeutic techniques and interventions to best address the multifaceted needs of my clients. From crisis intervention to psychotherapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness practices, client-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy, I have employed a holistic approach tailored to each individual's unique circumstances.
Being bilingual in English and Spanish has been an asset in my practice, allowing me to effectively communicate and connect with a diverse range of clients and communities. My proficiency in both languages has facilitated deeper understanding and cultural sensitivity in my work, ensuring that all individuals receive the support and resources they need to thrive.
My work has been deeply rewarding, as I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of compassionate care and evidence-based interventions. I remain steadfast in my commitment to promoting healing, resilience, and empowerment.
