About me
I am a resident Counselor at Wellness Through Counseling, located in McLean, VA. I work with individual adults. My primary counseling areas include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, multicultural issues, adjustment issues, relationship issues and workplace challenges.
I take a collaborative and person-centered approach to counseling. We will work together to understand your life journey, process complex feelings, and develop skills needed in order to break negative patterns and habits. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals. It will be my privilege to accompany you on this intimate journey.
I share the lived experiences associated with trauma and challenges of migration. I value multicultural experience and understanding of cultural differences in my practice. I have had various volunteer assignments with different agencies such as International Rescue Committee, working closely with refugees. I provide counseling in English and Persian.
