I specialize in trauma treatment for adults, with most of my clients coming from Medicaid. Traumas can be from many sources and include problems related to family, military, childhood, medical, of accident trauma. The treatment protocol that I use most of the time is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I am an older clinician. I have received my master level training a the University of Southern California in Social Work. I am a religious person. I served in the U.S. Army for three years as an enlisted man in the airborne infantry in Vietnam and as a Drill Sergeant afterward. I am retired from the United States Postal Service and have embarked on a second career in counseling, which I love. I have been married to my wife 54 years. I work full-time in the Department of Corrections doing counseling and am serving clients privately on Fridays and Saturdays, and some late evenings while I establish my practice and switch to a full-time practice. I accept most insurances and am paneled with Select Health, Medicare in Utah, several EAP programs, and Medicaid (pending).
