I am an experienced clinical social worker who is dedicated to helping clients learn to rationally counsel themselves. I am interested in helping clients learn how to get well and stay well long term. I specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and helping individuals learn how to identify and change negative thoughts causing them distress. I also specialize in helping parents learn to improve negative behaviors in their children with PCIT. Other areas I have a niche in include: trauma, depression and anxiety.

He is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT); he was trained at The University of Iowa by Dr. Beth Troutman. Tyson is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Tyson provides a variety of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy trainings. Tyson provides training in suicide prevention and trainings on preventing burn-out in the workplace. Tyson also provides clinical consolation and supervision for clinical licensure. Tyson is currently the NASW-PA North Central Division Chair. Tyson is also a member of the NACBT.
