About me
Experienced psychologist specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and eating disorders.
I have been in private practice for 39 years. I feel that the most important thing I bring to the therapeutic relationship is wisdom obtained both through training and life experience. I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients’ individual needs and unique life situation to help them attain the personal growth they are striving for. My most extensive experience is with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and eating disorders. I do individual therapy.
I give a lot of feedback with the understanding that this is about your path, not mine so you have the ultimate decision about what is right for you. I have been trained in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, solution focused therapy and use EMDR for trauma.
I have a daily Vipassana meditation practice and appreciate the usefulness of mindfulness. I am also a strong believer in the importance of spirituality. Through Al-anon, I have become good at working with enabling and codependency.
