TOM FUSCO, LCPC

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor located in Brunswick, Maine. With compassion, respect and humor, I provide counseling to adults for trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse and PTSD.

I have training in Solution Focused Brief Treatment from the Brief Family Therapy Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and have been using this model in my work providing counseling, supervision, prevention, EAP and organizational development services since 1990. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as a level II therapist and other trauma treatment methods.
I have been working in the field of Substance Abuse and Mental Health since before I acquired my BA in 1971. I earned an MA in Psychology and Counseling from Assumption College in 1973 and an MS in Management from Antioch University in 1986. I have designed and managed community based prevention/intervention programs and EAP programs, supervised personnel, taught graduate and undergraduate courses in human services and management as well as taught parenting classes.
I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP).
