About me
Life is too short to surrender to letting adversity, trauma, bad relationships, grudges, and more, control us...or be anxious/angry all the time. In 10 years as a clinician, military veteran, and retired law enforcement officer, I have been fortunate in facilitating individuals, couples and families finding answers, healing, understanding in desperate situations. That they may overcome and resolve. Thus empowering them to create resilience and healing in the rest of their story.
My theory of change has been influenced significantly due to my life experiences. That is, an integrative, person centered approach with attachment at the core. I have a unique perspective in counseling, since I started my career in active duty Marine Corp. I am retired from law enforcement. I have been serving in the Army Reserves for over 20 years. I have had wonderful challenging experiences working in development of creating trauma informed schools.
My greatest happiness is my wife, children, and my faith. I love fitness, camping and anything outdoor/exploring. Movies and music are something I have a great love for and frequently find beneficial in sessions.
I look forward to meeting and collaborating with you as you gain insight, skill, resolve, healing and peace.
