Greetings! I am Tina Merced MSW LCSW BCTMB. In addition to being a life long learner, I was a professional massage therapist for 25 years, assisting assorted amazing human bodies feel pleasure, be pain free and well functioning . Now, working with all types of people's emotional, behavioral, relational, mental, and spiritual health, I am blessed and honored to be of service as an ally Holistically to the whole of a being.
I am a long time Las Vegas resident so I get our unique culture. Personally, I have been around the block, a few blocks in fact- and in a variety of neighborhoods. This life experience helps me relate to a wide variety of issues, depression, anxiety, mania, and from chronic medical to marriage, divorce, parenting, etc to employment, industrial and big picture dilemmas.
A current focus of mine is on childhood trauma treatment for young adults wanting to get sorted and straightened out to be able to become their best selves. Your story is what you went through. It is not who you are. The power is in deciding where you will steer yourself from here.
I use classic talk therapy, somatic therapy, EMDR and an eclectic individualized approach. What ever works, as long as you feel better, act better, love yourself and others, find joy, and contribute your gifts.
