About me
Although a therapist in training, I am familiar with serving persons in domestic violence, trauma, and substance misuse in the context of navigating complicated family, community, and court systems over the last 14 years. Additionally, I have extensive experience with parents caring for special needs children and family. I have an interest in medical family therapy, specifically birth and other medical trauma.
I have attended two therapy externships - EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
I am currently interested in providing family and couple's therapy, as well as EMDR virtually for individuals. I also have an interest in advocacy for gay / transgender youth in Christian homes in the context of family adjustment, validation, and acceptance. Everyone needs a space to be heard. I am open to providing the space of safety, comfort, and confidentiality you require.
