About me

I'm an LPC Associate, Supervised by Matt Bierds, LPC-S. I completed my post-graduate training in a rigorous, CACREP accredited program and am licensed to work under supervision - this essentially means you get two therapists in one. I bring years of experience working with individuals of all ages and life circumstances, with the passion and insight that comes from previous careers and lived experience. As a BIPOC, transracial adoptee, I have a special focus on navigating identity and the challenges one might face with "belonging" and feeling comfortable in you being your true self.

I specialize in an integrative, humanistic approach from a trauma-informed perspective, drawing from evidence based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), attachment theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Rooted in self-compassion and client-centered care, my counseling style emphasizes empowerment, validation, and the belief that clients are the experts of their experiences. My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where clients can explore their challenges at their own pace, free from judgment.

With professional experience working with diverse populations and personal experience with mental health care, ADHD, adoption, attachment struggles, and career changes, I bring a unique blend of empathy, insight, and authenticity to my practice. Our work together can help you lean into your strengths, cultivate self-compassion, and navigate life transitions with resilience and purpose.

If you're ready to start this journey toward healing, empowerment, and self-discovery, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Let's collaborate and equip you to create or enhance a life that feels fulfilling, authentic, and aligned with your values.

If any of this resonates with you, reach out today and let's get you scheduled!
