Tara Peterson is Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Endorsed Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist who has been working with children and families in Fresno County for the past 10 years. Tara utilizes an attachment-based approach with young children and their families to promote parental understanding to support children’s mental health needs and rebuild connections and attachment to facilitate repair and healing within the parent-child relationship. Tara offers individual therapy and supportive services to adolescents and adults to promote change and healing within in a safe therapeutic environment. Tara utilizes a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach to allow others to have a safe, supportive environment in therapy.
