About me
I am Licensed Clinical Psychologists with expertise in parent coaching for caregivers of children, teens, and young adults (ages 5-21) with anxiety and/or autism.
I offer parent coaching to caregivers. My work is autism-affirming, grounded in respect for neurodiversity, and tailored to each family’s values and goal. Your challenges with parenting a neurodiverse child are not personal failures. There is no manual for what you do, but I can provide tools and research-based techniques to help you guide your child to symptom reduction in a judgement free space. I bring humor and compassion into the room and welcome you to bring your whole self to this work.
I specialize in supporting parents and caregivers of children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 5-21) with anxiety (OCD, Separation etc.) and/or autism. I offer Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) parent training, a parent-centered approach that helps caregivers learn practical, supportive ways to reduce their child's symptoms—without requiring the child or young adult to attend sessions. Parents often meet treatment goals with 8-12 60-minute sessions.
Coaching sessions begin with education about how anxiety and autism impact family systems to validate your experiences. Next, I work with parents to understand their parenting preferences and their child's unique set of symptoms. We collaboratively develop targeted goals each session and implement new strategies in increments until we reach goals around symptom reduction, which typically occurs in 8-12 sessions.
