About me
As an EMDR and CPT Certified Therapist, I am committed to helping survivors of trauma heal. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with acute and complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, self-esteem and relationship issues. Through advanced trainings, certifications and consultations with leaders in the field of trauma informed psychotherapy, I have mastered how to refine and customize culturally competent treatments to fit each individual’s unique needs and improve therapeutic outcomes for trauma, anxiety, depression, shame, addictions, eating disorders, racial trauma.
My therapeutic approach includes both evidence based, traditional psychotherapy and an appreciation for spiritual values. I work with clients of all ages to explore relationship challenges, to develop personal autonomy, and to enhance professional creativity and confidence.
I have extensive experience working with those struggling with trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship issues, addictions and life transitions.
I received my MSW degree from the University of New England, Maine. I am licensed by the Oregon Board of Social Work.
I am fluent in multiple languages, and have had a multi-cultural experience, having lived and worked in England, Singapore, Sri Lanka and the United States. During this time, my work has centered around working with adults and children. I have extensive experience working with trauma survivors.
