Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am an experienced licensed Mental Helth Counselor with several years of experience, dedicated to helping adults cope with depression, anxiety and grief.
I have been practicing psychotherapy for several years. I have my own practice in Massachusetts and work as a well clinical social worker. I speak fluent Portuguese.
Using an integrative style, I work with my clients in order to help[ them explore the social, emotional, biological, and intellectual factors that are impeding them to achieve their goals. My primary goal as a therapist is o build a warm relationship with my clients characterized by acceptance and humor. I find that it is empowering for my clients to take an active role in creating our work together, whether that is a short-term treatment targeting a specific problem, or more in-depth work.
My areas of focus include both individuals and families, ages 16 through adulthood. I specialized in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, stress management, and life transitional issues.
I have been trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, behavioral modifications, and play therapy.
During the therapeutic process, I will help you to become aware of any negative patterns that you are experiencing, enable you to explore and change self-defeating patterns to learn sustainable ways to manage symptoms, and feel more fulfilled in your work and personal life.
