About me
I have experience with working with clients on managing stress, anxiety issues, domestic violence, substance abuse, PTSD, and many types of trauma.
My practice is individual therapy for adults in the age range of 20-65 years old. My specialty training is in trauma including EMDR. I have experience with working with clients on managing stress, anxiety issues, domestic violence, substance abuse, PTSD, and many types of trauma. The consultation visit will be to establish background information for therapist and client to create an appropriate treatment plan. I am client focused and work in partnership with clients towards achieving desired goals. During consultation, expectations and limitations will be explored including number of sessions. I believe in teaching clients what happens to our bodies when we experience difficult events, and how the physiological changes that occur to survive these events affect our emotional well-being. The great news is we have the ability to retrain our brains’ and bodies’ responses to our environment to begin to heal and feel more content.
