I am a LCSW who works primarily with military and military family member populations across the State of Alaska. I specialize in Trauma, the Biopsychosocial Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences, Trauma Informed Practices, Evidence Based Practices, CBT, CBT-I, EMDR, CPT, and matters concerning the treatment and prevention of Family Violence.

I currently work as a Sr Clinician within the Steven A Cohen Military Family Clinic at Alaska Behavioral Health, a Community Non-Profit that served the entire state of Alaska. The Cohen Clinic specializes in short-term, solutions focused, evidence and measurement based care for military affiliated populations, through Individual, Couple's, Family and Group settings. I have a passion for addressing the impact of trauma and chronic/toxic stress to assist client's in building confidence and competence in areas of Safety, Trust, Power/Control, Esteem and Intimacy and increasing intentional awareness of how they experience themselves and others after trauma. I am also a strong proponent in supporting identified loved-ones of those who are engaging in therapeutic services, so that they can support one another until new, helpful habits are formed and acclimated to.
