I am an experienced and dedicated licensed professional counselor who assists adults with managing their symptoms from ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and stress.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Texas, holding a master's degree in Community Mental Health Counseling, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a registered yoga teacher (E-RYT) through Yoga Alliance. I treat males and females ages 18 and up.
I take a balanced and eclectic approach. Yoga and meditation are my roots and these practices are more than just something I "do." They are an integral part of my daily life and are integrated into my counseling practice. The modalities I most often use include person-centered, compassion-focused, CAM, ecotherapy, mindfulness/meditation/yoga, solution-focused, strengths-based, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) skills, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills.
From our first session together, we will identify the positive skills you already engage in and how we can continue to build and expand on those. We will work together to create your "toolbox" of skills and techniques for you to use. My specialties and interests include ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, life coaching, those who work in the mental health or health-related professions, self-esteem issues, spirituality, and stress/stress management.
I accept the following insurance: Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Oscar Health, Oxford, and United Healthcare.
