Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
I was born and raised in beautiful Washington State. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and I have a Master of Social Work degree from Walla Walla University. Prior to stepping out into private practice, I worked in hospice and palliative care where I assisted patients and families struggling with depression, anxiety, and grief and loss.
Seeking therapy can feel a bit overwhelming and finding a therapist with whom you feel comfortable with can be challenging. It’s important to have a safe place to go where you can explore and share your thoughts in an accepting and non-judgmental environment. Together, we will work on getting you closer to feeling happier in life.
My style of therapy is warm and humanistic. I work with individuals 13 years of age and older. I strive to provide all my clients with a safe, secure, and non-judgmental place to explore stuck areas while focusing on solutions, not problems. I enjoy watching clients move into a more balance, peaceful state.
My therapeutic approach includes Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), an evidence-based approach designed to help individuals and couples get unstuck. This therapeutic approach allows you to envision, expand and grow into what your hopes are for yourself, while becoming a happier, more confident individual. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I help bring client's strengths to the surface and utilize these strengths to obtain the client's desired outcome.
