About me
I am an experienced counselor in helping adults cope with life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression and loss.
We will all face challenging times in our lives. It is at those times of transitions and change that we may need extra support. Choosing to start therapy is a courageous act. I am committed to come along side you to work through and manage those difficult times. It is my aim to create a nonjudgmental, compassionate space for you to feel safe to process your thoughts and feelings.
I use a holistic approach to therapy. I believe that each individual has the power to change and grow. I believe that wellness and healing come from healthy thinking and healthy habits. In addition to using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic and mindful approaches, we will also assess how your daily habits either are supporting or hindering you.
I like to empower people to use the skills they learn in therapy to gain confidence, trust in their body's ability to heal, to feel better and make positive changes to live their most meaningful lives.
Whether you are looking for short term, strength based therapy, or long-term support and healing, please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.
