Steve’s goal in therapy is to promote the growth and well-being of older teens, adults, couples and families who seek help for stressful situations or new transitions in life.
Working with Older Teens and Young Adults, Steve has special connection with this dynamic group of emerging individuals. His skills as a Child Mental Health Specialist creates a safe, and open, therapeutic space for older teens and young adults to be heard. Steve knows that all relationships take work to thrive. He can help a couple, or family, explore their problems in more in-depth ways and help them identify the right solution that can last.
Steve has completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy combined with Emotionally Focused, Strength Based, and Solution Focused Therapies, together we will explore ways to connect, create shared meaning, increase intimacy, and learn more effective ways to communicate.
If you are in crisis, or simply need someone to talk things over with, Steve will apply his excellent communication and listening skills to help you navigate life’s problems and suggest healthy ways of coping with compassion and empathy.
