Hi, my name is Stephanie. I became a licensed counselor because I know the value and impact counseling has on a person feeling seen and heard. I have gone through various training, with different modalities such as EMDR, because I see the value in these resources/tools to help the client feel valued, seen, and heard.

About Stephanie

Stephanie goes by She/Her/Hers and has her B.S. in Rehabilitation Studies with two minors: Addiction Studies, and Human Development and Family Systems, from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Stephanie has earned her Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling, at the University of North Texas. Stephanie has also obtained her LCDC (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor), she understands that addiction can and does deserve treatment, along with grace and dignity to everyone, as it pertains to their individuality, and as a member of their culture/community. Stephanie is a CYT (Certified Yoga Teacher) and believes yoga has many benefits and is highly relatable to therapy, and the process of integrating the whole person, mind, and body, with individuals needs to be defined by their strengths. When a client can bring conscious awareness to their abilities, and strengthen other areas of biopsychosocial existence, they can obtain healthy skills to replace addiction and have a more fulfilling quality of life. She is also trained in EMDR, through Compassionworks, and provides EMDR virtually.
