I help LGBTQ+ Kentuckians overcome anxiety, depression, and trauma so they can have better relationships and better understand themselves.
We develop a therapeutic relationship where we work through your issues together as a team. As a gay therapist, there is an instant foundation of understanding & lived experience that’s missing when working with straight cisgender clinicians. I help clients develop a greater sense of self-awareness, understand what's going on in their relationships and heal old wounds, strengthen self-trust, make connections & see things from a different perspective. My therapy style is relatable, practical & warm.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from WKU in 2015. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am trained in Brainspotting and The Gottman Method for couples. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, substance abuse, and community mental health.
I am available for telehealth therapy for individuals across KY (CST time zone). Please email me and let's get this process started!
