Sonila Sejdaras , PsyD

I am a clinical psychologist helping primarily high achiever who work very hard in their lives yet they struggle in silence. I specialize in treating social anxiety, panic attacks, complex trauma, or substance abuse.

Dr. Sonila Sejdaras, (Relational Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, & CBT), is a clinical psychologist and the owner of Sejdaras Psy.D & Associates. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health. In addition to completing her doctorate in clinical psychology, she holds a license in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC).

As a clinician, Sonila has worked in a number of inpatient psychiatric hospitals and outpatient mental health clinics, including Henry Ford Hospital & Northeast Guidance Center Clinic in Detroit Michigan, Haymarket Center, GatewayFoundation & Howard Brown Behavioral Health in Chicago, Illinois. She works with individuals suffering from Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Grief and Loss, Bipolar Disorder, Relationship problems, Work Stress, ADHD, Gender and Sexual Identity Issues. Dr. Sejdaras specializes in treating social anxiety, panic attacks, complex trauma, or substance abuse. She has experience on working with diverse folks and strives to develop perceptiveness and understanding of her patients' experiences along with establishing a relational environment where they feel validated and understood.
