About me

I'm a queer bilingual therapist who can help you practice the skill of caring for yourself—as deeply and kindly as you care for others.

When you’ve got a lot going on, it’s easy to put yourself last. If you want to explore your identity, deal with the impacts of past traumas, or learn how to feel more connected in your relationships, you may not know where to start. But the good news is that you don’t have to do it alone. I create an environment in virtual or in-person sessions where you can feel heard and seen in all the complexity of your identities and experiences. I have helped clients build self-compassion, manage the impacts of trauma, practice new ways of communicating, find community, explore gender and sexuality, and access more joy.

I pay attention to power dynamics and systems of oppression, because I believe these factors have a significant impact on mental health. I may shift my approach based on your individual needs, and I aim to check in early and often about how things are going: I want you to know why we’re doing what we’re doing in therapy.

As you search for a therapist, it may take some time to find the right fit. I encourage you to reach out for a free 15-minute phone consultation, where we can start talking about your hopes for therapy to see if we might work well together. I look forward to hearing from you.
