About me
I am an experienced Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who uses a systemic, wholistic perspective to help families, individuals, and couples cope with anxiety, depression, relational problems, and life transitions.
We all need help. Whether you’ve come to a crossroad in your life and need to plan out your next step, or you’re overwhelmed by current circumstances. Maybe emotions cloud your day, and you need help navigating through them. You want to see your life and direction clearly. Maybe you’ve suffered a loss, and you’re on a journey of healing. We are never complete. We finish one chapter, only to begin another. That’s why I am here why I’m here. My purpose is to listen to you, to support you, to understand you, and ultimately, to help you.
Life is beautiful, and at times, it can be difficult and overwhelming. The relationships we have in our lives, be it with our parents, our siblings, our spouse, our friends, or our community, change. Sometimes in ways we didn’t predict, and are unsure how to navigate. My purpose is to help individuals, couples, and families overcome adversity in their lives and relationships. I use a solution-focused approach to understand each person’s unique set of values, and direction. Together, we will strengthen and heal your relationships with yourself, and the people important to you. We will find meaning out of your past experiences, and use this to create a change for your future. To identify what is truly important to you.
I earned a Bachelors degree from Washington State University with a double major in Psychology and Human Development and a Masters degree in the Marriage and Family Therapy program from Seattle University. Outside of my practice, I read books, spend time with friends and family, and hike. A couple of my favorite books are Wild and Daring Greatly. Please do not hesitate to contact me, I look forward to working with you!
