About me
I am an experienced psychologist who is dedicated to serving my community. Through a strengths-based lens and a philosophy grounded in neurodiversity, I am honored to work with individuals and families seeking to improve their functioning and to help them pursue goals in line with their personal values.
I graduated from Pacific University with a PsyD in August of 2015. This included an internship in Pennsylvania where I did intensive in-home therapy with high-risk youth and their families.
Throughout my graduate school and beyond, I had diverse training in assessment and therapy for individuals and families across the lifespan. My practice is trauma-informed, neurodiversity and culturally sensitive, and LGBTQ+ affirming. I honor all the ways we choose to live our lives. I specialize in systems and humanistic therapies - forms of therapy that see the whole person and their context, not just a label or a symptom. I further utilize tools from other therapies to best serve each client with whom I work. I also specialize in psychological testing/assessment of children, adolescents, and adults.
I work with many autistic and attention-challenged individuals from a Neurodiversity perspective. This sees neurological differences as valid and valuable, and I recognize that the idea of "normal" changes by society and context. I am affirming of neurological differences and teach people to embrace their differences and use them to make this world a beautiful and colorful place to live in.
