I am a seasoned Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am dedicated to helping others experience a balanced, healthy and enjoyable life. I am very down to earth and provide an atmosphere of relaxation and acceptance.

I have been in practice for over 20 years. I try to create an environment where clients experience their unique significance, learn empowerment and acceptance. I collaborate with clients (and other providers on their care teams), to identify solutions to current crisis or stress related issues. I assist clients in recognizing their ability to live a balanced, healthy and enjoyable life.
I am well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Level 2 certified), Didactic Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Narrative Therapy. I have extensive experience and have been using a combination of these Therapy modalities to assist clients in resolving problems related to trauma or stress related events / issues.
I have a history of being a Clinical Program Manager for the County of Santa Clara for 12 years. Managing within the Main Jail and Elmwood Detention Center inmates that struggled with their Mental Health. Also, helping create and manage a program for inmates leaving custody transitioning into the community (PALS Program & Evans Lane Wellness & Recovery Residential Program). I have also done extensive trainings and team building within large security type corporations like General Dynamics, Fuji Film, Northrop Grumman, Local Law Enforcement, EMS, First Responders and all branches of the military. I hold certifications in Grief / Loss, and Crisis Intervention. I served on the Grand Jury of Santa Clara County. I am a first responder for Mental Health after major incidents within the State of California. I provided services to those effected by the VTA mass shooting & the Gilroy Garlic Festival Shootings. I was a clinical manager for the Mental Health Courts in Santa Clara County and did competency to stand trial assessments. I have extensive training and personal experience with medical issues that effect mental health. Including but not limited to; Multiple Sclerosis & Cancer, Weight Loss Surgeries Assessments to qualify for surgery. Extensive work with issues related to body image. Additionally, I provided clinical supervision to hundreds of interns within my 20 years of experience. I am located in Santa Clara CA, but also provide tele-health session via video or phone.
