About me
“My goal is for therapy to be a collaboration where clients feel respected, heard, and understood. I believe every client has the potential to discover inner strengths and solutions that work in their lives which will allow for greater connection, performance, and peace.” I take an integrative approach to therapy considering the role of the brain, body, and mind. I understand that we experience life in all three domains and I use movement based, brain based, and thought based interventions to help clients get unstuck and reconnect with themselves and others.
I have worked in both private practice and the non-profit sector, focusing on how trauma impacts a client's life and functioning, and working with client's to resolve trauma. I have worked with youth who were considered “most at risk” due to trauma, lack of connection, and difficulties building relationships and adults processing complex trauma and anxiety. I have also worked with adults and teens diagnosed with OCD.
