I am the founder and director of Interactions Counseling, a group practice focusing on helping children, adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, PTSD, family issues, gender identity and other life issues.

Hello, my name is Shari Bennett, I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 35 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I have extensive training in EMDR, Hypnosis, Trauma work and more recently Polyvagal Theory. In 1988 I opened Interactions Counseling and Intervention Center, a group private practice in the Westford/Littleton area. 34 years later we are still going strong! Currently there are 5 very experienced and talented warm and caring therapists who's goal is to help our clients work through their current and past issues to lead happier and more satisfying lives.
At Interactions we believe in treating the child and adolescent within the context of the family, school and larger community. We work with families to help them identify and understand their difficulties and then to develop effective solutions. We maintain school and medical contacts when appropriate in order to provide a more comprehensive and helpful treatment plan for the individual or entire family.
For adults, we offer individual, family, and couples counseling, separately or in combination, so that the person can achieve the best results in the shortest amount of time. We utilize an integrative approach, tailored to meet the needs of our individual clients. Each of our therapists is highly skilled and trained in different therapeutic modalities such as play therapy, CBT, Hypnosis, EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, and family systems work.
