About me
Shannon received her Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from The University of Alabama. She did her internship in Athens, GA and has continued her career here in The Classic City. Shannon has worked primarily with elementary school aged clients, including providing counseling services in a local elementary school. She has worked in a variety of settings ranging from an intensive residential program to a local counseling practice.
She incorporates creativity, play, and art into her therapy techniques in her work with children to help them increase their skills to work through their current issues. Shannon takes a client centered, solution focused approach where she collaborates with her clients to increase their coping skills.
Shannon looks forward to working with you and/or your child to increase and implement skills to overcome your current challenges.
