Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
Are you feeling lost in your own life? Have you been feeling stressed, worried, anxious, or depressed? Are you in the midst of life challenges and feel unequipped to cope? Have you been hesitant to try counseling and are unsure of what to expect? I would love the opportunity to meet with you and help you discover your strengths and cultivate inner peace. With great care and a gentle approach, I mindfully work to create a safe space and develop meaningful therapeutic relationships with my clients. Let's start the journey together on the path to wellness and a healthier, whole, version of you!
I utilize a trauma-informed, person-centered, holistic approach to counseling. I incorporate DBT, CBT, EXRP, & EMDR, however my specialty is EAP (equine-assisted psychotherapy). Through experiential exercises with horses, my clients discover powerful metaphors and find creative solutions to their own problems, resulting in empowerment!
I am excited to offer authentic equine assisted psychotherapy to my clients for an experiential therapy experience like no other! I was trained by Greg Kersten, the founder of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) himself and certified by his organization, the O.K. Corral Series. As of February 2022, I am also thrilled to offer EquiLateral, the premiere EMDRIA Approved Equine-Assisted EMDR (EA-EMDR) Protocol.
