I utilize a trauma-informed, person-centered, holistic approach to counseling. I incorporate DBT, CBT, EXRP, & EMDR, however my specialty is EAP (equine-assisted psychotherapy). Through experiential exercises with horses, my clients discover powerful metaphors and find creative solutions to their own problems, resulting in empowerment!
I am excited to offer authentic equine assisted psychotherapy to my clients for an experiential therapy experience like no other! I was trained by Greg Kersten, the founder of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) himself and certified by his organization, the O.K. Corral Series. As of February 2022, I am also thrilled to offer EquiLateral, the premiere EMDRIA Approved Equine-Assisted EMDR (EA-EMDR) Protocol.
