About me
I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist working with children, adolescents and adults for over a decade in a variety of settings. I support those that I work with around building self-awareness, self-compassion and skills to navigate the challenges in their lives, whether they are struggling with depression, anxiety, identity, grief & loss, life transitions or relational challenges.
My practice is about deepening into self-discovery and self-awareness, feeling held with safety and compassion, and finding healing and transformation.
I deeply value connection and am honored to get to know those that I work with on a deeper level. My passion for this field began as early as my teenage years and into college where I provided peer counseling and worked in a residential home for boys. I have since worked as a psychotherapist in a variety of settings for over a decade from school sites, to youth development programs, to clinics and private practice. For the past 8 years I have developed the mental health counseling program at Seven Tepees as their Counseling Program Director. Seven Tepees in a non-profit youth development program which provides holistic and long term support to under-resourced youth ages 11-24. As the Counseling Program Director I both provided direct mental health services to youth and families as well as consultation and supervision for the staff. I have also been the School Counselor at Brandeis Marin since the fall of 2017 supporting students K-8th grade with their social emotional wellbeing both individually, in small groups, and within the classrooms. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults and families from all different backgrounds. I offer safe healing space to deepen into self-exploration, gain insights and self-awareness with compassion, and find healing during individual or family therapy, group therapy, or on retreats in nature.
I am here to support you, to walk alongside you on your path, whether you are experiencing:
Depression
Anxiety
Grief & Loss
Trauma
Identity Exploration
Life Transition
Challenges in relationships
My approach is warm and collaborative. I offer therapeutic interventions from approaches including mindful somatic psychology, psychodynamic psychology and cognitive behavioral therapy. I work with each individual to determine the best interventions to assist you in the positive change and support that you may need at this time. I listen empathically and then approach therapy with a variety of influences to best fit each individual's needs.
I hope for the chance to know and support you.
