About me
Life is full of challenges and transitions and my goal, as a therapist, is to ease that challenge by partnering with my clients to build on their strengths and deepen their perspectives. I like to provide clear guidance and explanations, compassionate confrontation, warmth, and a safe space for exploration, discovery, and healing. I work with my clients to explore what their ideal life looks like, the changes they want, and then create a plan to help them get there.
I help my clients learn coping skills that resolve depressive thoughts, anxiety, fears, negative thinking, and panic attacks, through talk therapy, goal-oriented therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness approaches.
I earned my Masters of Social Work from Fordham University and a BA in both Psychology and Criminal Social Justice from Penn State University.
I am actively engaged in the psychedelic community and am continuing my studies in this field. I am passionate about the use of psychedelics and entheogenic plants to improve human health and overall well-being, and am excited by their potential to transform mental healthcare.
I have experience working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and life stages. I welcome people of all racial identities, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, and religious affiliations. My work has included finding new ways to navigate anxiety, depression, emotional pain, trauma, psychedelic experiences, or learning to set boundaries in relationships and live life more intentionally and authentically.
My therapeutic approach may include Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical (DBT), Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), Cannabis-Assisted Psychotherapy, Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy and Integration Therapy, Psychedelic Harm Reduction, Solution Focused (Brief) Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness/Meditation, Client Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused, Family / Marital, Psychodynamic, and Trauma Focused Therapy.
I believe the therapeutic alliance is a partnership to help clients achieve their goals. There is not 'a one size fits all' therapeutic solution, rather a combination of therapeutic approaches that is tailored to each individual client.
