About me

Do you ever feel overwhelmed with life's challenges, managing your emotions, or setting/obtaining goals to create the life you really want?
Sometimes just having a chance to feel heard makes all of the difference. I have a direct style of communication, rely on skill building techniques, and frequently say: "You don't know what you don't know." and "Now let's explore that..."
I specialize in children, parenting, and adults developing skills to create their balanced life worth living.

I have a Masters in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and 7+ years experience in Anxiety/Depression, Infant/Child Development, Family Structures, Communication Skills, Emotion Regulation, Trauma, and Substance Use. I am trained in Advanced Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy - Informed (DBT).

Currently working as independent therapist through Finding Balance Counseling Center. Able to accept new clients through telehealth setting. Accepting BCBS insurance and self-pay, $50-$140 per session with sliding scale fee scale based on income. Appointments available each weekday 2-5pm, also nights and weekends as needed.

Request a session to start working on building a solid foundation to create balance in your life. Or a request a free phone consultation to answer any questions or alleviate any concerns that you may have.
