Reaching out for support and choosing your therapist can be overwhelming. Thank you for taking these first steps towards self care and personal growth. To make this process a bit easier, here’s a bit about myself.
I am a child of Korean immigrants, born here in California. I highly value diversity and celebrate differences. There are many strategies to cope with systemic oppression, and I acknowledge this as part of my therapy services.
I am a cis gendered, heterosexual woman who was once monogamously married, and now I practice ethical non-monogamy with long term committed partners. I value the variety of ways that people of all genders, orientations, and relational configurations love each other and care for each other.
I am a passionate person who loves learning new skills and who looks to find hope and joy in the process of discovery. This too I bring into the therapeutic relationship.
With over 20 years of experience, I have served the community in the following practice areas: foster care, domestic abuse, crisis and suicide intervention, trauma and community mental health and social emotional learning in education.
