About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides counseling services to adults (18+) and couples. I specialize in the treatment of Anxiety, Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, trauma, and marriage/relationship concerns.
I focus on providing a supportive environment where you can explore your concerns, develop goals, learn skills, and discover strengths and resources as you move along your path to self-discovery. I believe that the therapeutic relationship can be a vehicle for change; therefore, I place great value on working from a place of compassion, authenticity, and collaboration.
I use the following therapies to inform my approach:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
The Gottman Method
It has been said that sometimes in life we find “there is neither going forward, nor going backward, nor standing still.” We feel both stuck and a strong need to move because our current path is so uncomfortable. Finding the way forward, when all we know is what we have always done, can seem nearly impossible.
Let us walk beside you and help you find your way.
