I am an experienced child, adolescent, and family social worker who is dedicated to helping children and families cope with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Sara Gottfried, a graduate of Bridgewater State University and Boston University, is a practicing social worker, with diverse experience in a variety of settings, including group homes, residential programs, schools, inpatient and outpatient settings, and the Department of Children and Families. She has a passion for working with children and families and utilizes an empathetic, strengths-based and trauma-focused approach. Sara uses a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy to meet clients where they are to make sustainable and empowering changes.
