I am an EMDR-trained mental health counselor committed to helping adults and adolescents heal from trauma and cope with anxiety and depression.
Life can be pretty overwhelming, and you may feel exhausted trying to figure it all out on your own. It’s too much, and you don’t know how much longer you can go on like this. My role is not just to help you figure out how to carry all this weight, but to help you release it so your shoulders can feel light again, so you can finally feel free to step into your most authentic self.
I help my clients identify and use pre-existing strengths, develop new coping skills, and challenge and replace limiting beliefs to achieve positive growth and wellness. I consistently encourage my clients to develop self-love, prioritize self-care, and nurture authenticity. My integrative approach to traditional talk therapy includes psychodynamic counseling, person-centered counseling, solution-focused counseling, and CBT. I am also trained in EMDR, an 8 phase treatment focused on helping individuals heal from trauma and disturbance, and have successfully conducted several EMDR sessions virtually over video.
