About me

Hi. I look forward to working with you. I come with 11 years in the field and 6 years as a therapist. I am

About My Clients
I have a love for people who are in the unknown and stuck points. People who are uncertain of themselves or their identity. Individuals that need to feel empowered and healed. Ones who have learned to operate on auto pilot in the outside world only due to avoiding healing the inside world. If this sounds like you, reach out so we can unpack your book bag. During our sessions, I will combine my personal experiences as well as my professional expertise to get you to a place of whole healing.

My Background and Approach
During our sessions, we will develop a collaborative relationship where we work on any presiding issues that you have. This will allow you to really dig deep within yourself to gain a better understanding of your self-awareness. I tend use a lot of solution and behavior focused interventions, while still meeting you where you are. Overall, my therapeutic approach is eclectic, and I aim to become more holistic. Note, that we will establish the best goals for your treatment, develop a plan for achieving these goals, and work closely to ensure these goals are achieved. Overall, my therapeutic style isn’t your textbook therapist. I aim to provide some light through relatability, experience and knowledge, while we take a close look at how we can rewrite your story. I look forward to working with you!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have had a lot of personal experiences with mental health and the effects it can have on the family unit. I grew up in a household of a parent with mental health struggles, and saw first hand how much lack of knowledge and a system can do injustices. My love for learning and passion, led me to the desire to become a therapist. Through this path, I was truly able to walk in my own sense of identity, as well as support my passion as a therapist and as an individual. During our sessions, I will combine my personal experiences as well as my professional expertise to get you to a place of whole healing. It is a lot at times, but with the right mindset, and dedication, we will push through even in the rough patches to find a balance. In my free time, I enjoy learning how to become a holistic therapist. I desire to be more nautropathetic in the future. I also love volunteering with local organizations to fight for all injustices (mental health, racial, queer, women's rights, etc.)

Topics that I enjoy supporting others with are: boundary implementing, adjustment issues, trauma and stress, depression, self-esteem/self-confidence, emerging adulthood, educational and career exploration, relationship issues, LGBTQIA+ challenges, life goal setting, and life transitioning counseling (adolescents, divorce, parenting, empty nesters, etc.).
