Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am an experienced mental health therapist who enjoys helping people work through past trauma to understand and unlearn their self-sacrificing, people-pleasing, and perfectionist tendencies.
I specialize in treating past physical, sexual, and emotional abuse and other forms of trauma. I am a Certified Trauma Treatment Professional trained in using many different types of therapies, but I particularly enjoy using EMDR. My focus is to help my clients understand how their past experiences influence their current behaviors, struggles, and relationships so they can learn new ways to move forward. I also work with those struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief/loss, and general stress and life transitions.
From my own experience I know how scary it can feel to start therapy. I also know how good it can feel to finally share your story and how therapy helped me to change. The biggest predictor of successful therapy is based on the relationship between client and therapist. I offer free 30-minute phone consultations to explore if I am a good fit for you.
