Sable Barney, MS LPC

Hello, My name is Sable Barney and I am so happy to be here with you as you journey towards recovery, self-discovery, and resilience. I have had the amazing opportunity to work with so many incredible individuals over the years and I am excited to work with you to help you meet your goals. I graduated with my Masters of Science in Counseling degree from Grand Canyon University and I have been working as a counselor since 2017. I specialize in a variety of therapy models including Therapeutic Art, Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, Equestrian Assisted Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I've had a lot of experience working with children in the foster care system as well, and use experiential therapy to help with processing trauma and other life struggles. I have worked with several non-profit agencies around the Valley and helped individuals of all ages develop coping skills and regain hope for their future.

In my spare time I enjoy being with my husband and my two children. We love to travel, explore the great outdoors, and just be present with one another. My husband and I moved to Arizona from Idaho in 2013 and we could not be happier here.

I have a true passion for helping others and understand that therapy is not a "one size fits all". I truly believe therapy should be tailored to meet the specific needs of each person. I promise to work on making your therapeutic process unique and beneficial for you.
