About me

I am an experienced therapist who is dedicated to working with adolescents through adults working with trauma, eating disorders, self-injury, and more.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Supervisor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling. I have been working in this field since 2012 (as an intern), 2014 licensed. I am an independent contractor at a private practice, currently seeing clients in office, with a dash of telehealth. I enjoy working with teenagers specifically, but work with all ages. I have a heart and passion for working with those who have experienced trauma, suicidal ideation, self-injury, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and personality disorders. I am EMDR trained, trained in Attachment Theory, and certified in treating personality disorders, I work a lot out of the mindfulness headspace, and truly believe that we need movement to help heal as well. I approach therapy in the sense that this is your space. I am not a cookie cutter therapist that adheres to one specific modality, but instead, I pull from many because not every client is the same. I love movement, and being a 3rd degree black belt in taekwondo, I like to incorporate that as well. I am trained in a program called yoga unchained and enjoy utilizing that in treatment. Art is another intervention I feel is important in the healing of trauma.

I have a dog named Nova that is with me every day. He's very loving and learning to read emotions. He is an emotional support animal, and is continuing his experiences of growing that by coming to the office with me every day.
