About me

Therapy can help us cope with our life challenges and find deeper understandings about what generates our thoughts and feelings. With these insights into our internal stories, I help individuals develop healthier thoughts and create new actions that lead to a more fulfilling life.

With empathy and understanding developed over 25 years as an independent funeral director, I have helped thousands of individuals and families navigate deeply distressing feelings of vulnerability and emotion. This informs my approach as a therapist. I embrace a welcoming openness for the human experience and a desire to deeply listen to another.
I utilize solution based and narrative therapies as well as Gottman based practices to help people better understand themselves and one another.
