About me

My specialty is implementing the Unified Mindfulness-Centered Release-Empowerment Protocol for Cravings, Compulsions and all "I HAVE TO" behaviors.

I have decades of experience offering innovative and transformative mindfulness methods as the foundation of my therapy practice. The Unified Mindfulness System was developed by Shinzen Young, an internationally renowned mindfulness teacher and neuroscience consultant and co-director of the SEMA lab at the University of Arizona. I bring personal experience with a devastating sugar and refined carb addiction which I released 18 years ago......completely. I have witnessed the recovery of clients from serious addictions and compulsive behaviors including alcoholism, sugar addiction, smoking (tobacco, marijuana and vaping), compulsive internet shopping, compulsive hair pulling, compulsive picking and other negative behaviors. My passion for working with these issues led me to become a researcher as well as an associate of two neuroscience labs. They are the Medical University of South Carolina and the SEMA lab at the University of Arizona. I'm excited to be working with these labs on the creation of a Web-App to aid in our research of my protocol.

I offer clients a practical and easy to learn method involving exposure/desensitization process along with a creative and powerful CBT model.
