I’m a therapist and certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher, experienced in working with individual women and men to release the grip of anxiety, self-doubt or stressful circumstances that may be interfering with personal relationships, and overall well-being.
Let’s face it. Our current, modern world often is quite challenging. In fact, I believe it’s important to distinguish between what’s often labeled as a ‘mental health issue’ from what also could be viewed as a ‘normal’ human reaction to abnormally difficult circumstances. I’ve learned in my work that once that difference has been made visible, our experience of anxiety, sadness, and relationship difficulties can begin to soften and shift. This makes possible recovery of our sense of well-being, joy, and control over meaningful life choices. My work and practice include gentle, curious, non-judgmental discussion around what matters most to you in life, and what’s standing in the way. I’ll work collaboratively with you to uncover ways around the problem, and - importantly - ways of recreating a better mind-body relationship to the world you live in, and to your own preferred ways of living your own unfolding life.
