About me
Therapist who is passionate about helping teens and adults cope with trauma, depression, and anxiety.
Negative thoughts can make us feel overwhelmed and hopeless to change. We may close ourselves off from others, even though we know opening up would make us feel better. Finding someone outside your personal life who can provide a safe space for you to talk things out sounds nice - and that's exactly what I offer. You know yourself best and I'm here to help you find the answers to your questions inside yourself.
In my work with teens and adults, I primarily use EMDR and CBT. EMDR holds a mirror up to you and your emotional and physical experiences so you can have more self-awareness and answer your own questions. CBT is great for understanding how your unhelpful thoughts and hurt feelings lead to negative behaviors so we can replace them with positive ones.
My clients come to me when they need to feel like themselves again, set better boundaries, and end toxic relationships; and I'm looking forward to helping you with the same issues. I will walk with you on your path to healing. It's easy to get lost on that path. Luckily, my experience and compassion are the GPS.
