R. Maryam Lempke, PMHNP-BC

Maryam is a doctoral-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for women's health; working with mothers and children; the natural world of God, and the healing mechanisms provided therein. She is also a licensed massage therapist since 2005 and specializes in mind-body treatment approaches. She founded Pura Vida Psychiatry in response to a deep need she observed in the community for connection and communion with a higher power as well as reconnection to one's inner-self, intuition, and innate healing capabilities.

Maryam is a doctoral-prepared, psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in women’s mental wellness. Maryam treats women from all walks of life aged 18 and older. Treatment is conducted from a holistic, functional medicine perspective with a firm understanding of the mind-body-spirit connection. She is also a licensed massage therapist since 2005 and specializes in mind-body treatment approaches. Symptoms present for a reason. At Pura Vida Psychiatry, we understand that our symptoms are messages that there is something out of harmony in mind, body or spirit. Rather than treat the symptom and try to eliminate it, we look to identify and treat the root cause, so that symptoms are no longer necessary.

We currently serve the state of Massachusetts via in-person appointments in Hampden, Ma and by telehealth (Vermont and New Hampshire telehealth pending). We offer a free 15-20 minute phone/virtual consultation to determine if working together would be the right fit.
