About me
I like working with highly functioning and intelligent adults who feel their emotions or some past experiences prevent them from achieving happiness and living meaningful lives.
I received my academic education from the University of Vilnius and Institute of Psychology in Kiev, my clinical education – from the Finnish Psychoanalytic Society and the Hanna Perkins Center in Cleveland.
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is aimed at exploration and discovery of previously unknown repetitive patterns of patient's behavior. These patterns were useful in the past, but as long as they remain unconscious – they are not necessary later in life. They prevent a person from becoming whole and realizing oneself.
